Tips

For faster service, have your Claim ID and weekly benefit amount ready. Your Claim ID and weekly benefit information is located on the SDI Online homepage of your myEDD account, or on your Notice of Computation that was mailed to you. 

A Random Number Generator (RNG) will be required to gain access to our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. This measure enhances security and ensures a smoother experience for all users.

When you access our IVR system, you may be asked to provide certain information, including your Social Security number (SSN) or EDD Client Number (ECN), date of birth (DOB), and zip code.

Please note that providing this information is optional. If you choose not to provide the requested details, you will still have the option to speak with a representative for assistance.

Instructions

1. Dial the desired language line. Representatives are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on holidays.
   • English: 1-800-480-3287
   • Spanish: 1-866-658-8846
2. Enter the four-digit number provided to you.
3. After a brief message, you can continue the call in English or press 2 for Spanish. (Caller can select language).
4. If you know what option to select, you may enter it or say it at any time. In the main menu, callers can say or enter options. For example, you can say "Where is my payment," "Claim status," or "What's my receipt number?"
   
   At any time, you may select the following:
   • To speak with a representative, say "Agent" or press 0.
   • To return to the previous menu, say "Previous menu" or press 9.
   • To repeat this information, say "Repeat" or press the star (*) key.

For the Self-Service options, you must have the following ready:

• Your Claim ID.
• SSN (If you do not have a SSN but an assigned EDD Client Number (ECN), you may enter the ECN).
• Last Day Worked.
• Weekly Benefit Amount.
• Date of Birth.
• Phone Number.
