Get Unemployment
Unemployment benefits can provide financial support while you look for a new job. Here’s how to apply!
- Fastest way: Apply online at myEDD and select UI Online. This is available in multiple languages.
- By phone: Call 1-855-327-7055, Monday–Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- By mail or fax: Download and send the Unemployment Insurance Application (Federal Employee) (DE 1101IBD).
Tips for Applying
- Have your Standard Form 8 or 50 available when applying. They contain important information you need about your federal employer.

- Choose direct deposit to get your payments faster.
