Workforce Services Directive Guidance on Regional Awards (WSD18-16) is inactive, effective immediately.

Published June 21, 2019, WSD18-16 provided guidance and established procedures regarding general standards and responsibilities of the Local Workforce Development Areas (Local Area) and Local Workforce Development Boards (Local Board) acting as the Regional Fiscal Agent for workforce development programs and initiatives. This directive also included responsibilities concerning the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and other state funds allocated to a Regional Fiscal Agent within the Regional Planning Unit.

The instructions in WSD18-16 are no longer current. The Directive will not be revised, as other existing Directives provide Local Areas and Local Boards with accurate and up-to-date guidance on procurement, requirements, and monitoring.

The following Directives can be used for future guidance:

• WIOA 15 Percent Governor’s Discretionary Funds (WSD23-04)
• Standards for Oversight and Instruction for Substate Monitoring (WSD22-02)
• Procurement of Equipment and Related Services (WSD17-08)
