Department Clearance
The Public Affairs branch reviews and approves all public information prior to distribution to meet the Department's customer-centric goals, branding, and plain language standards. This is referred to as clearance (PDF, internal only).
Where to Submit
After you complete your internal branch clearance with the right contacts, submit your clearance package to the right Public Affairs team. Include your internal branch clearance approval and a completed Clearance Route Form (DE 1626).
