Fonts
Primary Fonts
Use primary fonts across your public communication to keep branding consistent and text easy to read in English and Spanish.
Where to Use Them
- Print – Printed versions like brochures, flyers, forms, and publications.
- Digital – Digital files you can access on a computer or phone like a webpage, PowerPoint presentation, SMS, or email.
For legacy products, fonts like Calibri are still okay to keep until the product is updated next. When submitting revisions, update to the primary font listed below. If that font isn’t available, use one of the secondary options.
Exceptions
- Small print products (like bookmarks and business cards) as long as the text fits well with the size of the product and is still readable.
- Supporting text (like footnotes, captions, or nondiscrimination statements) can have flexibility.
Start with the sizes listed. Adjust as needed to make sure it's accessible. Using font pairings for a header and the general copy creates a clean, professional look. It makes text easier to read.
Google Fonts (free) offer web-friendly, and multilingual options, including for Montserrat, Roboto, and Roboto Flex. For Google fonts, select Get font to the right, and then Download all.
For use within Adobe Creative Cloud applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) use Montserrat, Roboto font families from Adobe Fonts, by activating them from the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop application.
