2025 Year in Review: How We Showed Up for Californians

In 2025, Californians turned to us during some of life’s most challenging moments. This includes after a job loss, during an illness, or caring for family. Our responsibility was clear: to make it easier to get help, faster, and with less stress.

This past year, we continued our focus on improving how people experience our services. We simplified benefit applications, expanded online tools, improved language access, strengthened security, and modernized how customers connect with us online, by phone, or directly in their communities. We also invested in job services, youth employment, and employer support to help keep Californians working and businesses strong.
