Opportunity to Participate in Stakeholder Engagement Regarding Services to People with Disabilities

During the months of June and July 2024, Jobs for the Future (JFF) will be conducting field interviews with select local Department of Rehabilitation offices, America’s Job Centers of CaliforniaSM, local workforce development boards, and community-based organizations to unearth promising practices, challenges, and conditions related to serving people with disabilities.
Organizations who participate in these interviews can expect:
- A list of interview questions to review at least 24 hours before the interview.
- To participate in a virtual interview lasting up to 60 minutes with one to two members of the JFF team.
- Anonymity and confidentiality in responses shared with JFF staff.
Insights gathered from the field interviews will inform the development of a framework designed to strengthen the collaboration between state and local stakeholders working to improve workforce outcomes for people with disabilities. Responses will also inform the design of a pilot intended to assist qualified people with disabilities obtain services leading to competitive integrated employment.
