SACRAMENTO — The Employment Development Department (EDD) will release the State’s December 2025 unemployment and employment data on Friday, January 23, 2026.
The U.S. Department of Labor’s Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has not yet released its labor market data schedule for 2026. As a result, EDD will announce future California labor market data release dates once the updated federal schedule is available and the State has access to the necessary data to complete state-level and localized reports.
