About Our Workforce Services

We offer workforce services as part of the federal and State of California’s public workforce service system. Our role is to connect job seekers with employers through the America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM (AJCC), who provides jobs and training services.

Workforce Services programs are designed to help job seekers access employment, education, training and support services to find success in the labor market. All job seekers, including youth, veterans, people with disabilities, migrant and seasonal farmers, underemployed and unemployed, can benefit from the many services offered.

We offer a variety of employment services, including:

  • Career counseling
  • Job skills training
  • Job search training workshops
  • Labor market information

For many job seekers, California’s online labor exchange system, CalJOBSSM is a valuable resource to find their next job opportunities. Job seekers who are not familiar with computers can get help from the customer service staff in an America’s Job Center of California (AJCC).

If you need more help, CalJOBSSM and America’s Job Center of California (AJCC) locations provide several employment assistance programs at no cost to help you find the right job.

Finding a Job

Yes, we provide access to job listings and other employment-related services. Job seekers can use CalJOBS online to search a database of job listings and can submit job applications for employers to view. Our job listings are also available in the national Job Central system, along with job openings available across the United States.


You can use CalJOBS to search for thousands of jobs listed by California employers. CalJOBS allows you to enter your resume for review by employers who are looking for qualified workers.

Look up employers in your area to access employment information and job openings they may have posted on their own company website.

CalCareers provides information about exams and civil service job openings with the State of California.

Using CalJOBS

You can recover your CalJOBS password by contacting our CalJOBS Customer Support Service Desk. Call toll-free at 1-800-758-0398 between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Pacific time, Monday through Friday. A representative can help you on the call to get you logged in to your account.

Moving out of California?

You can deactivate your CalJOBS account by sending an email to
