The Employment Development Department (EDD) announces the availability of up to $150,000 of Wagner-Peyser 10 Percent Governor’s Discretionary funds for the Campesino de California Outreach Grant – Complaint System Awareness and Referral Program Solicitation for Proposals (SFP) for Program Year (PY) 2022-23. The goal of this initiative is to create partnerships with organizations currently serving the Migrant and Seasonal Farmworker community to reduce barriers and expand access points to the Employment Service and Employment-Related Law Complaint System.

The grantee must use a total of $150,000 for regional projects during PY 22-23. Each project must establish access points for accepting and referring complaints to the nearest America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM EDD Complaint Specialist.

Eligible applicants include non-profit public or private organizations, community and faith-based organizations, tribal government, and educational institutions. Individuals are not eligible to apply. Proposal applications must be received no later than 3 p.m. on May 3, 2022.
