The Employment Development Department (EDD) announces the awarding of five grants totaling $2,300,000 for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Services for Program Year 2019-20.

The Wagner-Peyser 10 Percent allocation funds these grants. The awardees will provide employment-related services to deaf and hard of hearing individuals through the America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM (AJCC) network. Services to be provided at 18 AJCC sites include job development and placement services, counseling, and community outreach.
