Paid Family Leave Benefits Extension and Form Updates

The Employment Development Department announces a change to the Paid Family Leave (PFL) program that extends the maximum duration of PFL benefits from six weeks to eight weeks effective July 1, 2020. In addition, PFL forms were updated to reflect these changes.

Additionally, to improve Spanish speaker accessibility when filing a PFL claim, a fillable PFL Spanish claim form is now available.
