Manage Your Voluntary Plan

Learn how to access your Voluntary Plan (VP) SDI Online account and how to contact the Voluntary Plan Group (VPG) through email.

Register for SDI Online

Use SDI Online to process VP Disability Insurance or Paid Family Leave claims conveniently and securely.

To access your account online, follow these steps to register for SDI Online:

• Create a myEDD account for access.
• After your account setup is complete, login to your myEDD account.
• Select SDI Onlineto open the SDI Online Registration Option page.
• Under Voluntary Plan, select Visit the Voluntary Plan page for contact information.
• You will be directed to contact us by emailing VPProgram@edd.ca.gov about getting the VP SDIO Registration form to fill out and return.  

Once we receive the completed registration form, a confirmation email will be sent to each user. Upon receipt of the confirmation email, log in to myEDD, select SDI Online, then select Agree and follow the instructions.
