On March 15-18, 2021, the California Workforce Association, in partnership with the California Labor and Workforce Development Agency, and the Employment Development Department, will host a series of California’s Return to Work Job Seeker webinars to provide vital workplace safety information for job seekers to workforce professionals throughout California.
The two-hour interactive session is designed to give workforce professionals and their stakeholders the latest information on how job seekers can return to a safe workplace. Designed for America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM staff, workforce development, education, labor, and community-based organizations information will be shared that can be incorporated directly into curriculum and program design. The session will cover the following topics:
- Benefits available to the job seekers of California.
- Worker rights while employed.
- What job seekers can expect from their employer under this climate.
- Who to contact to get additional information about worker rights and safety.
- Federal support, rescue, and stimulus package information.
- Local Labor Market information and analysis.
