Regístrese en e-Services for Business como representante

Regístrese como representante si uno de los siguientes le aplica:

  • Es un representante externo que se registra para administrar la cuenta de impuestos sobre la nómina del empleador de su cliente, como un preparador de impuestos, tenedor de libros, agente o contador.
  • Es un empleado que se registra para administrar la cuenta de impuestos sobre la nómina de su empleador.
  • Solo está presentando el documento titulado en inglés Report of Independent Contractor (s) (DE 542).

Pasos a seguir

Con e-Services for Business, puede solicitar un número de cuenta del impuesto sobre la nómina del empleador, presentar declaraciones de impuestos, reportar salarios, hacer pagos y administrar las cuentas del impuesto sobre la nómina de quienes representa. Es fácil, rápido y seguro, y está disponible las 24 horas del día, los 7 días de la semana.

Siga los siguientes pasos para registrase en e-Services for Business y obtener acceso a una cuenta del impuesto sobre la nómina de empleador por internet.

  1. Go to e-Services for Business.
  2. Select Enroll.
  3. Enter the required information, then select Next.
  4. Choose your security questions and answer each question, then select Continue.
  5. Review the Enrollment Summary and print a copy for your records, then select Submit.
  6. Select the verification link in the email we sent you to complete the enrollment process.

Important: If you do not verify your email address within 24 hours, you will need to restart the enrollment process.

  1. Login to e-Services for Business.
  2. Select Existing Employer, then select Next.
  3. Review the information on the Getting Started screen, then select Next.
  4. Select No on the Employer Confirmation screen, then select Next.
  5. Select Yes on the Representative Confirmation screen, then select Next.
  6. Complete the Representative Information, then select Next.
  7. Complete the Representative Contact Information, then select Next.
  8. Review the Enrollment Request, then select Submit.

Now you can register for a new employer payroll tax account number or add access to existing employer payroll tax accounts.

Register for an Employer Payroll Tax Account Number

Before you begin, visit Am I Required to Register as an Employer? to review the information needed to register.

  1. Log in to e-Services for Business.
  2. Select Register a New Account (DE 1) from the I Want To panel.
  3. Complete the online registration application.
  4. Select Submit.

Access Employer Payroll Tax Accounts Online

For each employer payroll tax account you want to access, be prepared to provide the answer to one of the following:

  • Total Subject Wages Reported from one of the last three filed Quarterly Contribution Return and Report of Wages (Continuation) (DE 9C).
  • Reserve Account Balance from the most recent Notice of Contribution Rates and Statement of UI Reserve Account (DE 2088).
  • Payment Amount from one of the last five payments received by the EDD.

Then, you will follow these steps:

  1. Log in to e-Services for Business.
  2. Select More...
  3. Select Add Access to Another Account from the Access Management panel.
  4. Complete the required Account Validation fields.
  5. Choose a security question then provide the answer to the security question.
    Note: If the employer has not submitted returns or payments before, you will have the option to select New Employer.
  6. Select Next.
  7. Review the information you entered, then select Submit.

You are now authorized to access the account in e-Services for Business.
