If you are facing a layoff, review the following services:
- WARN (Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act)
Certain employers must give employees at least 60 days notice before a mass layoff, relocation, or plant closures.. - Rapid Response
Support is available to help both workers and employers during layoffs or plant closures. Contact your local America’s Job Center of CaliforniaSM (AJCC) for more information. - Work Sharing – Alternative to Layoff
This program lets employers keep employees on a reduced schedule instead of laying them off. When business improves, they can return to normal hours without hiring and training new people.
