Payroll Tax Assistance
Call toll-free 1-888-745-3886 (within the United States and Canada) for state payroll tax assistance. Our automated phone system provides general payroll tax information and assistance 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Taxpayer Assistance Center staff are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST), Monday through Friday, except on state holidays.

e-Services for Business Assistance
Call toll-free 1-855-866-2657 (within the United States and Canada) for e-Services for Business assistance. e-Services for Business staff are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST), Monday through Friday, except on state holidays. Our e-Services for Business service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Other Ways to Contact the EDD for State Payroll Tax Assistance
To contact the EDD in person, visit your nearest Employment Tax Office. All offices are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (PST). Offices are closed on state holidays.
